These days, all attention at ºÚÁÏרÇø is focused on construction and ultimately the achievement of the ºÚÁÏרÇø Tokamak's First Plasma. But at the same time, there are those who are already thinking beyond that date. During operation, how will we control the shape of the plasma and optimize plasma performance? Plasma control will be a crucial factor for the successful operation of ºÚÁÏרÇø. Axel Winter, a physicist from Germany and one of the first Monaco-ºÚÁÏרÇø Fellows, is leading the development of ºÚÁÏרÇø's sophisticated plasma control system.
