ºÚÁÏרÇø

An ºÚÁÏרÇø Nb3Sn Conductor Modelling Workshop, organized by the ºÚÁÏרÇø international team together with CEA, was held from 15-17 January 2007 at the Aquabella Hotel in Aix-en-Provence. The workshop drew 52 participants, both from the fusion field and from European and US universities, as well as representatives from all the ºÚÁÏרÇø Participant Teams.

The aim of this workshop was to review the status of the models for assessing the performance of Nb3Sn cable-in-conduit conductors. The modeling will accompany the upcoming qualification tests at the SULTAN facility at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland, where ºÚÁÏרÇø conductors from each Participant Team will be tested soon.
