The Local Commission for Information (CLI) for ºÚÁÏרÇø is holding a participatory public exchange on ºÚÁÏרÇø on 28 November 2019 in Aix-en-Provence, France. This independent body acts as an interface between the ºÚÁÏרÇø and the local population for questions of nuclear safety, radioprotection and the installation's impact on personnel and the environment. The ºÚÁÏרÇø and the French Nuclear Safety Agency (ASN) provide the ºÚÁÏרÇø CLI with any information necessary to the exercise of its mission. The group, which meets regularly, is composed of representatives from local government, environmental groups, trade unions, businesses and health professionals.
At the municipal library in Aix-en-Provence, ºÚÁÏרÇø will take part in a cultural event called SPACE CAMP, celebrating 50 years of spatial conquest and the digital environment. With a variety of virtual reality tools, ºÚÁÏרÇø will present fusion science, the Tokamak machine, and current construction status on site.
